Our membership is committed to making a difference in the quality of life for the children of our community. Last year, sixty-four dedicated members volunteered 4,681 hours to the Nest program and many other worthwhile endeavors in the hopes of bettering the lives of young people in the Quad Cities. Junior Board also donates funds to a variety of charitable causes in our community. Special Allocations for the 2006-2007 year totaled over $52,000.

In our continuing effort to impact children in our community, we hope you’ll partner with us to meet our goal of reaching out to even more kids this year. Last year, we provided 26 children with car seats and this year we’re hoping to double that number. We funded 128 well-baby visits and are looking to exceed that number this year.

This past year we began giving out the What to Expect When You’re Expecting book to expectant mothers, giving approximately 45 books, and are committed to reaching even more moms this year. We also provided weekly educational seminars for expecting mothers on everything from budget to nutritient to infant CPR.
